Feel Like Jesus

by Sourav   May 5, 2007

I'm starving for love
The hunger of being with you
Among the known faces and crimson haze
Don't treat me as dark & new

I'm looking for someone to complete me
Looking for some inspiration
You are there but looking at the different way
And with my loneliness, I'm in infatuation

Sure, loneliness adds beauty to life
Now I can see life's tragedy so distinctly
Tears that turned to ocean
If not sunrise then can see the sun set definitely

Like the Jesus, we all come alone
Live and die solitarily
Only the illusion created by someone's love
Makes us believe that we're not alone, momentarily

And more and more I feel like Jesus
Feel the bleakness that He'd felt
Growing esurience and ininsatiable desire for love
Yet, hearts of stones refuse to melt

Crucified on the shore of life
Crucified by the rage and hatred
I count my blood in my solitariness
But they never fed me & forever I remained unwanted

Wow. this is simply amazing. are you a believer? im thinking you are, but neverknow....

that's actually how christ wants you to live. He wants us to live like Him, and i think that includes some of the loneliness....christ is not always loved. that hurts Him. so it makes sense that we feel this way as well...

    ^ just some insight....

great poem. and thank you for the comment on mine as well. god bless

Your yearning and longing for Love is so tenderly and poetically portrayed here...
And what, after all, is Love?... In whose image, after all, are we made?....The actual illusion is that we are alone...Crucifixion was followed by Resurrection, yes?
