Running from daymares

by FallenAngel   May 5, 2007

In a cold corner on a dark winters night
I sat and stared at a moon so beautiful and bright
Do the stars gaze at me, does the moon look at me too?
Or am I alone in admiring the night the way that I do?

But when silence turns to noise, when night turns to day,
This is when i want to hide, this is when i run away.

I grow weary of this debauchery,
They seem to feed from the pain of me.
Today's society is a hateful place,
And I long for the day God will judge our race.

So, rather then face all the anguish, hurt and pain
I hide away in my room and cry tears like rain

Many people are happy in light, in noise, and in the day
But I am happy under the moon, this is always my way.

**Authors Note : - This isn't my best work, but it is meant to describe how I hide away from the day the scrutiny of todays society, and embrace the night. I suffer daymares, not nightmares.**
