When you write a poem
Do you think
or do you feel
do you even know what is real?
when i write my poetry
i am in a brand new place
its a place of emotion
and dreams that have come true
its like when you look in a babies eyes
and you can see the glistening
as it shimmers in the light you feel
the dreams and all the secrets that life has to bring
when i write poetry
i feel very alive
i feel i can do anything
i even feel i can do what i strive
but when other people write
do they give it thought?
or do they just put words together
and just watch it all rot
when you write a poem are your feelings true
cause when i am writing i know that they do
a poem is like a life
it has its beginning and end
and in the middle is the greatest blend
of morals
and hope
pain
suffering
but in the end you can see the awnser
you can finally feel what the point was all along
then you look at life and it isnt the same
so when you write
consider how you feel
just let your thoughts go wild
and look at your stars sore
and you look in that childs eyes
and you can even relate
to the hopes
and the dreams
and the brightest
of emotions
