Remember the days
we used to share
the sunshine rays
shined in your hair
you fought in wars
and battles too
you split smores
between me and you

i felt something
was terribly wrong
so i gave my mom ring
to ask what was wrong
she replied with a frown
that she had to lay you down to rest
as i looked down
i tried my best
to not cry a tear
but it didn't work
it was my worst fear
death did the work

i sit and remember
the good times
trying to remember
the laughter and rhythms all hope is lost
as i sit here today
hoping it wont cause
another painful day

please watch over me
from heaven above
and sit there with thee
as they release the dove

never leave me without you
watch over me
like you always do
its hard for me
to say these words
without a lie
i say those painful words
i love you...goodbye

    Very nice poem, you really have a talent at this. This poem was really good, full of meaninf and flowed very nicely. The ending was good but in the last line, instead of;
'i love you...goodbye' you should put I love you and goodbye. And be careful on punctuation, it might not seem important but you will be surprised how much it helps.
