Derogatory princess

by DanixDelinquency   May 6, 2007

You awake, and for a moment…
Things don’t seem as bad as the night before
The cold clammy hands of the ‘Gentleman’
Gone…
And you are yourself once more.
You look to the window… and for a moment
Things seem better then yesterday
The degrading feeling sweeps to remorse
The shame…
You neglect your body, how much do they pay?
You crawl from your bed, and for a moment…
Your reflection feels brighter then what it seems
A derogatory term of what you used to be
And you cry…
For the bags of your eyes are the first thing you see.
You pull on your clothes, and for a moment…
Things seem the same as the night before.
It will never matter how nicely you dress…
Because my love
A tart in a tiara won’t make her a princess.
