Tonight tonight!

by KeyxMashingxParody   May 6, 2007

Tonight tonight,
Be with dreams.
Seize the day,
Of treasures of means.

Fruitful in spirit,
Poise in romance.
Feeling the admirable,
Admiring the can'ts.

Doing as told,
And halting with fear.
Drawn to in-existence,
Drawn another tear.

Sweet, victorious compassion,
So close... enough to touch.
Lost in admiration,
Yet loving it so much.

Coughing up tears,
And crying thick blood.
Always in ponder,
You never understood.

Tonight tonight,
Be with dreams.
Seize the day,
Of treasures of means...

Confused in life,
Losing your sanity.
Forgetting the day,
Of treasures of means...

I know what it means to ME, but with poetry it's sometimes difficult to tell if that's also what the writer intended. I guess it's the beauty of interpretation too.
What I didn't understand and thought the wording sounded awkward was "of treasures of means" it was probably the repetition of "of."
Ok to me the poem is about thinking you can't do things, or being scared and confused to try. The use of dreams and tonight makes me think it might be related to following dreams.
The word "tear" is something I'd consider to be cliche.
It was ok actually. Thanks for sharing.
