People Change

by gabriel   May 6, 2007

People change
Like rustic metal through water
They become strange
Rising and/or falter

Young saplings
Sprouting from the earth
Affected by weather
Living, dying after birth

Sweetened pear
Left on the kitchen stand
Left bare
Like a soured, old-timer's hand

People change
To vanish or for fame
Like pieces re-arranged
Life is but a game
