As we sat and chat, and giggled so,
We knew what we had to do.
His hand took mine and I smiled wide
He leaned in for a kiss.
Our lips touched and I thought it was love.
I opened my eyes to quite a surprise.
He was no longer there, nor any other one.
It was only a sweet dream,
Or so t had seemed.
