The Crusade

by Sarah Ann   May 6, 2007

What makes you think he wants you
When to him your heart has spilt
Fumes of guilt
Laying amongst the rubble
Thy poisonous blood
Twisted in struggle
Of unspoken words
Forbidden to thought
Innermost battles
Worn hearts have fought
Clashing in turmoil
Spinning in the battlefield
Beyond the stars
Eyes peeled
Ready to face the challenge
To camouflage, in shade
You are losing this crusade
For his strategy is set,
And yours is not
Why wouldn't he strike
Your weakened spot
And suck the ocean dry
Indifferent to your battle cry

He can read you like a book
Never angered to look
Absorbing every stride
As you die deeper inside

[It may sound like rubbish and such, but...It actually really means a lot to me. Thanks for reading, I'll return comments!]
