Heaven and Hell

To arms, to arms, there is a fight,
Heaven and Hell are in deathly plight,
Heaven fights with prayer and light,
Hell destroys with fire and might,

Who to chose when it is so dark,
Opinions are striking, leaving words that are stark,
We all seem to know what Heaven and Hell are,
All we see are the distant stars,

I am not sure who is right, Heaven or Hell,
I have my views, but who can tell?
I surely pick heaven, where God is said to live,
But is Hell more accepting, I hear that it is,

Whoever you choose, this is your fight,
The fight that continues well through the night,
Up into dawn, and then into day,
The fight that will never go away,

Over the hill and under the bridge,
Through the broad valley, and over the ridge,
Passing the oceans, passing the seas,
Crossing the animals, the hungry bees,

So prepare for a battle of unearthly might,
To arms to arms, prepare for the fight.
