Fear

by PoeticLoserface   May 7, 2007

Trapped in her own thoughts,
She screams yet no one hears.
Left to be defenseless,
Terrorized by her fears.

Darkness is closing in,
Light is drifting away.
She pleads silently,
Hoping the light will stay.

She screams into the darkness,
"Take my fears,
I wish them away.
For there is no reason,
To wish for them to stay.
They haunt me,
Terrorize me,
So I am letting them go!"

Light drifts back,
Slowly casting darkness away.
No longer trapped inside,
Not defenseless anymore.

You were her fear,
You left her defenseless.
Terrorizing her,
All along,
Loving you was her greatest fear.
