The Coming time

*** i had an old account that i deleted and i don't remember if i used this poem there or not. here it is

The things that people want in life; are just a fingertip away
i am s scared to move forward when the chance is now

why can't i just take that that chance and run with it

run as far as my strength can take me

the past is a powerful thing that prevents people from what they want, what they need in life

it holds them back from the lives that they wish they could live

Am i going to make the same mistake that so many people in my life has made

am i going to settle for the second best

I pray to God at night that i will have the courage to rise above the dark past that lingers over my head

to rise above the second best and go for what i want

even when the stars are crossed against me

i pray my faith, my strength, will hold and I'll break against the black clouds,

and reach that eternal sunshine that people search for so diligently

will i make it- i don't know

therefore the future is more mysterious than the past could ever hope to be.
