I see you laugh,
I see you smile,
I see you look at me for a while.

You were my friend,
You were that person.
I don't know what happened.
When we stopped and knew it had ended.

Did we use it all?
Got it lost to us forever?
Do you still wonder?
Or did you stop and decided never.

Never to think about me again.
Never remember the memories we both still have.

I look at you now
I see you sometimes.
I think about you.
The times when we were unaware
Just you and I.

I dedicate this poem to Charlotte, who used to be my best friend. I still see her sometimes and wonder about the what if's. I still regret how we messed things up. I miss you Charlotte, I still do after almost two years.
