Poppy

by Navy Blue Heart   May 7, 2007

Simple poppy by a tomb
Mourns a boy from mother's womb
Who wanted glory same as most
And tales of courage with which to boast.
Simple poppy by a cross
That still remains anonymous.

Haha...that's deep. I like how it was short but to the point. The words were very good, and you used good word choice. That way no matter how little you write, the words can convert into thousands of words, and can paint pictures. If you're able to do that, you can do anything with your words :) And you can.
