As she talks on her phone
He walks by the stairs
She wants to talk to him
But wonders if he would care

She decides to say hi
Maybe start some convo
Wants to get to know him
But wonders how it will go

It starts off good
Then moves to the hotel pool
He sees her look at him
She thinks he's cool

They sit and talk
Sometimes with nothing to say
He asks what she's thinking about
She's been thinking of it all day

She's too shy to tell
Wonders what he would think
But she goes ahead and kisses him
And her heart then sinks

It's so soft and so sweet
Her heart beats fast
She would like for it to go on
But it just can't last

For he lives in Texas
And she in the Golden State
To live so far away
Is this really fate?

She thinks about it
As she tries to sleep
His cute smile, the sweet tattoos
His brown eyes and voice so deep

And his personality gets better
Although he's pretty shy
He seems so perfect
She doesn't want to say bye

Even though it's been two days
Onto her, he grew
It really sucks to have to leave
But what can she do

So they kiss one more time
Before she watches him get in the car
Waiting for the next time to talk to him
Maybe then he won't seem so far
