Worth the wait..feedback

by Dakota Nessmith   May 7, 2007

The days were weary
the nights, cold
the wind blew fiercely
the man was so old
with every minute
with every hour
the more of his body
this life would devour
he was feeble
he was kind
he's of a select few
one may never find
his life was very harsh
something was always wrong
one peaceful day
is the only wish for which he longed
this night wore on
as every night before
but the next morning
would be no more
no more storms
no more rain
a peaceful eternity
is the only thing he ever gained
