Upside down; inside out
Scream, cry; Laugh, shout
Walk away and slam the door
Say you can't take it anymore
Walk back in and do it again
All because you are a 'friend'
But is this what friends go though?
Is this what they should do?
When is enough, enough?
When is it no longer love?
Sometimes giving someone a shove
Is the highest form of love
Letting them take that fall
Run right into that brick wall
Smash their face; be burned
Elsewise the lesson isn't learned
So what am I to do right here
Push you away? Or hold you dear?
What is the lesson you need to know?
Should I stay? Or should I go.
