The tree

There is a tree
In the middle of the forest
the center of attention
Critters gather
around the great beautiful tree
and frolic
A man comes
To inspect ths wonderful tree
and kill it
The man stops
And sprays a red x on the trunk
then leaves

The tree is living
And all the animals around
live with it
The tree is falling
And all the animals around
fall with it
The tree is dying
And all the animals around
are dying with it
