Compulsive Liar

by Jenni Marie   May 8, 2007

Lying to me every single day
Do you have nothing better to do?
O you think I really believe you?
Honey, it's about time you got a clue!

Supposed to be best friends
Yet you try and bring me down
Is it really that important to you
To try and make me frown?

We used to have so many laughs
We were as close as we could be
Now you've turned into a lying fake
Why did it take me so long to see?

Sick and tired of trying to rectify things
Giving you chance after chance
It's a dangerous game you're playing
Yet you still want to dance this dance.

Beginning to think that
You're a compulsive liar
Lying's all you ever do
From your inane lies, I tire.

So I guess all that's left to do
Is finally wish you goodbye
Used to think it would be painful
But I don't even want to cry.

Finally, I'm moving away
From all your messed up strife
Once upon a time we were the best of friends
Now I no longer need or want you in my life.
