Pinned down

My happiness, my sadness

comes like tidal waves in the ocean

back and forth, my emotions clash against the rocks near the shore

uncontrollable, unpredictable,

wild tigers in their cages, raging to get out

me, the tamer losing my whip

attacked by my unsubdued feelings

can't fight back, can't lift up, completely pinned down

forever imprisoned in my jail,

forever shut in my confined cage
