Somewhere out there,
in the dark night sky
a star is shining bright,
slowly it passes by
out of the billions,
that is the only star I want to view
for it can grant my only wish,
and I could, again, be true friends with you
so tonight I will find a star and make my wish,
the following day, I'll check and see
I will go on until the following night,
Until I know if you have become true friends with me
And if I chose the wrong star before,
I will wish again
For, I will wish on a different star everynight,
