I Love You

by Ashley King   Apr 16, 2004

On a card that says I Love You
I don't need a dozen roses,
to know that your love is true.
I don't need a romantic dinner,
with a candle light and wine.
I don't need fancy gifts,
to know that you'll be mine.
I don't need expensive jewlery,
or a love song dedicated to me.
I just want to be in your arms,
where you need me to be.
Sweet kisses from your gentle lips,
and your whispers in my ear
Are all I need now,
Sweet Heart I need you near.
All I'll ever need is you,
You're my life,and soon you'll see
I'll love you forever with all my heart,
Throughout Eternity.
