Inside that smile,
beneath a layer of happiness,
lies a shattered soul,
a broken spirit.
Haunted by a past
filled with torture, pain, regret.
She's beyond tears,
they won't help.
Her eyes glisten,
with swirls of sorrow.
She fakes a life,
pretends to exist.
But her secrets still follow her,
like a shadow,
