Avenged my Heart

by theffervescent   May 8, 2007

Your blood should pay
For hurt bestowed
Upon my heart
On heavens road.

I only felt with careless mess
Of feelings that
Were not addressed.

Envy uncurled with such menacing power
Yet my love for you burned
If not brighter each hour

But when unforeseen events took place
My stand in life shifted so that
You had a debt upon your soul
For which I made you pay the toll.

Karma's sweet in times like these
My heart was certainly appeased
As you sank into a deep hell
While I went on living quite well.

*Heavens road - when all is going well it's as if you are on a continuous journey though a road in heaven*
