Indifference

by Chad Campbell   May 8, 2007

To the world I am deadly thin,
of walking bones and skin.
As silent as trees,
I am carried away by a passing breeze.
Up above the apathetic masses,
and beyond the earths axis.

I tumble into the vast expanse of space,
a lost member of the human race.

    "As silent as trees,
I am carried away by a passing breeze"

I love that couplet, it portrays the hopelessness and emptiness perfectly...
    Well done!
