Numb misery

I've caught you in another lie
you said you'd never leave
but what did you do?
you left me here alone
to deal with the pain
so alone i sit
with a razor blade
making cut after cut
going deeper and deeper
trying to feel something
because you left me so numb
i grab my notebook
and a pen of course
write down what i can of my will
i fold the paper in half
throw them away from me
grab my blade
place it on that vain
whisper a silent prayer
and end my numb misery
