Last Breath

by Sage x3   May 8, 2007

Morning will come
peace will return
and together; so close
our hearts will burn
until forever ends
I'll keep you mine
and, until I can't think,
you'll always be on my mind

because life without you;
I can't live it
breathe without you;
it's contaminated
speech without you,
is so silent
and pain without you,
is like nothing else

For now, we're silent and safe
in comfort; in your arms
there's nothing to say
you protect me from harm
and this is so picturesque;
this moment with you
because I'd spend my last breath
on you if I had to

    That was ALOT better than the last. Onli one suggestion.. I'm not saying to use simple minded words but the word "picturesque" I'm not sure what it mean and if i didn't want to take the time to look it up I just wouldn't know. My problem? maybe. So consider putting a dictionary on the bottom of the poem or rewording the "unkown" word? 5/5
