Memory

by Alissa   May 9, 2007

Your memory still lingers,
like a sweet breeze of fresh spring.
One waft that stays forever,
far beyond eternity.

So beautiful shall you stay,
a memory that I treasure.
Dear God do you know what you did,
you gave me an angel.

Magic you gave me,
bestowed a spell, a curse.
Did i break free?
Or is it just starting?

The breeze returns,
but only a sniff.
I miss the feeling of it,
magic and all.

I know you loved me,
don't deny it.
Becuase I loved you too,
my love.

First love, first loss.
Don't you know?
Push me away if you wish,
but you will stay.

So I'm not ready to forget,
and you're not ready to leave.
We will stay a memory,
for once and forever.
