Forget

by Alissa   May 9, 2007

Tomorrow shall be a month my dear,
that we let go of our love.
But I still linger in the memory
that I know you forgot.

First love shall never end,
I wasn't yours, but you were mine.
But I wouldn't have it different,
because I love you.

You don't see what world I have now,
just a life of your memory.
I feed off from it,
as if that was my beginning.

Every other thought is a blur,
but only yours is a dream.
My fairytale,
that one I wanted forever.

But dear don't you see,
that I will never forget you.
I gave you my heart,
and shall never ask it back.

I want you to have it,
because that means no other shall enter,
you are my key.
The key to my passion.

So shall you love another,
but I will never.
I will live for you,
and you alone.

You shall sleep tonight,
while I am sleepless.
But do not worry my love,
I can handle this pain.

You were never a burden,
and never will be.
