Angel of Death

by Soft Parade   May 9, 2007

Waiting in the shadow,
a place unknown.
Lord of the underworld,
but all alone.

Another new window,
jolts my sense.
Events are in motion,
the worlds grow tense.

All through their land,
a whisper in the air,
trees begin to shudder
from the energy flare.

No longer a window,
both worlds are one,
no longer alone
until this deed is done.

The end of an era,
the atmosphere is sad,
the usual outcome,
few souls are all bad.

Back to the underworld
with a quick introduction,
I'm the angel of death,
this is soul junction

Realization kicks in,
a new journey at hand.
This soul moves on,
from this forsaken land.

Waiting in the shadows,
a place unknown.
I'm the angel of death,
completely alone.
