Pixie Day

by OHgreenman   May 9, 2007

Frolicking fairy of the forest
Slumbers amongst the trees
Awakening at new dawns light
Stretching wings in the breeze

Fluttering through the air
Trail of pixie dust
Magical seeds of life
Anointing Earth's crust

Hitchhiking on Robins back
When delicate wings tire
Singing songs of old
With sounds from natures choir

Smile upon her face
Joy within her heart
Nestles upon a branch
As the day departs
