Hidden Secrets

by Flying Phoenix   May 9, 2007

Eyes filled, my mind pushes these thoughts away
I cannot let the live, let them free
Locked in a room without a key, surrounded by defences
Guarded by nightmares
These, imaginings, torments, mere wisps
Are bound and shut, where no one shall see
Not even you could unlock my fear
Rip me bare and strike me hard but never
Will you find what I refuse to give
Struck fast from reality, I secrete my secrets well
For if I myself dare look, dare glance or peek
Overcome by the urge of desire
I cannot
Unthinkable let loose, roaming without restraint
Love will be torn, hearts crushed
Friends turn to enemies
As the truth came out.

But no
This shall not, will not
Ever
Happen.
Until my self control is lost
Will power driven to its limit
Strength dwindled
And time has come
You shall not see
For even my insurmountable love
My tormented soul could never let it be

Sorry

But please don't try

Wow, such emotion written within this poem. Was awesome. Bottling stuff up, without any will to let them out can never lead to good. It wil always end up with it burrying its way out you whether you like it or not.

It is always best to try and confide in someone you trust with your life.
-just a thought from someone who knows.
    A great poem though
    a def 5/5
