Forgotten Dreams (Huitain)

by Italian Stallion   May 9, 2007

Thoughts of you wander through my dream.
Memories of us, disappear,
As I awake and give a scream.
It seems to be simple and clear,
These dreams I have just disappear.
For I'm not dreaming, it is real.
For you, my one true love is here.
And that's the way I truly feel.

I think that this is a good write. the first 3 lines have me captivated, but the interesting(ness) seems to decline with the structure. or maybe its me.. GW

I loved this and the way you were able to hold your emotions through it, especially given that it was a strict style as well. I did, however, notice one thing that stuck out to me. In the first line, should "wonder" be "wander"? I just think that word fits better. Other than that, I couldn't find anything wrong with it, great job Darling.

Um there might be an error, there is only 7 lines in this poem where there is supposed to be 8, and line 4 has 9 syllables!!! other than that its great, i give it a 5/5!!! keep them coming!!!!
