Remember

Even though i know, we are far beyond done
i still recall on the memories, like they haven't begun

i can look back and remember, that look in your eye
when we promised each other, till the day that we die

that we would be together, forever and much longer;
and nothing would change, except love growing stronger

but then i realize how much we have both changed,
how the feelings passed, how it drove me deranged

never again, would i ever want to go back,
but i cant help but notice, the feeling of love that i lack

i want you gone from my life, but you managed back in
i cant say I'm not happy, but now i have to fake my grin

i just want to forget, I'm not saying it wasn't great
but that was when it lasted, its no longer our fate
