Flying

by Wings Of Flames   May 9, 2007

Flying

The milk of stars,
Trapped in satin sky,
One silver pool,
Above the world we fly,

Powdered mists,
Mountains of stone,
Luscious green trees,
And deserts alone,

Stars wink in the distance,
The moon shines down,
Night clouds float angelic,
And darkness shall frown,

Wings of a feather,
Flock together,
As our bodies touch,
We shall love forever,

Our lips make the sunshine,
Our hands hold the rain,
Our bodies close the storms,
And we never feel pain,

Porcelin skin,
With baby blue eyes,
Fairest of hair,
Angelic disguise,

The sun rises from the East,
And we dance through the gate,
Our wings guiding us to shore,
And for this we shalln't hate.

I'm not usually into poems about nature, but this is awesome...it seems like it has a hidden meaning...Again, the vocabulary is extremely powerful...
    5/5 for sure
