CANCER

Cancer

In the hospital bed
Is where he lives
He has no hair on his head
No one vists him
They know soon
Will be his last day
To weak to stand
So he calls his nurse
They put him in a wheel chair
He's blind in both eyes
Breathing tubes in his mouth
Feeding tubes in his arms
There's cancer
Eating him alive
There was a girl
Hired to help him
She read him a book
When he was little
His mom read it to him
The nurse and him had a great friendship
No one could take away
A doctor flew down from NYC
Told him he'd try and take it out
The girl took the boy
To the other room
She said there is hope
He got a paper and pen
As she was watching
he wrote
Becuase i got you

This poet wrote about a boy who grew up in the hospital with Cancer. It doesnt say how old he was but it looks like he had no friends.
He was always being watched cause you never know what happens next. A girl got hired to be a nurse to watch him day and night
They grew to have a good friendship. She new how to watch him and he new he could trust her. It's always good to have a friend
when your in the hospital. You can tell she loved him alot and she grew close to his mom. Someone flys down from NYC to save him
They new he wasnt going todo good but they believed in him. He came out fine he could see, and walk. The poet never said anything about talking
At the end of the poem he survives and relives his life with that nurse

    Why I wrote this poem

To give someone the hint that just because they have Cancer and lost their hair doesnt mean their mean. Everyone You,Friends, Sick people, Old people all need a friend. Maybe there friends got scared or moved away forever and they talk to people they dont like all the time. But sometime everyone should go
to nursing homes, Hospitals, Friends house's so they feel specail again.
