Green Eyes Sang

by Plan   May 9, 2007

Plan looked at the ceiling,
Wondered where She was,
What They would do.
What he could do.

He strolled to the park,
Sat on a bench.
Remembered.
What They had done.

Green eyes sang,
in faded memories,
of past joys,
and antiquated thoughts.

Plan became bored,
Had work to do,
Lost love's grasp,
Forgot.

Plan became another man,
Running the daily race,
of fortune and fame.
Plan forgot.
What was most important.
