Don't Go

by The Mr Simon   May 9, 2007

Stay, don't go.
Once here but now you've fled,
Too many words unsaid.

Stay, don't go.
Oh how my heart you've bled,
You've left me now for dead.

Would you come back to me,
If I said to you a,
Perfect apology?

You'd even hear me out?
Or would you just ignore,
My whisper, cry and shout?

Was I wrong, I don't know.
If we were anything,
Please stay with me, don't go

Stay, don't go.
Seems that the words I've said,
To you, have been misread.

Stay, don't go.
Please stay don't go to bed,
Don't go, you've been mislead.

* This is a song I wrote about my best friend Wendy, tho she left me before she could hear this one. My favourite piece thus far mainly because the syllables are so precise, and as usual...it rhymes!
