Looking out the window
Staring at the sky
Thinking of how true it is
And how I can't deny

I need you to be with me
Standing by my side
I need you to be listening
So to you I can confide

The city streets are dirty
Uncomforting, Unsafe
And I do not belong here
I've got to find my faith

There's so much to hold onto
But so much bearing down
And I can't seem to focus-
Distracted by all sound

My life is in a blur
