My First

by Saul   May 10, 2007

You were the first who brought me out of my shell
The one that showed me that life was not Hell.
That the touch of a hand could bring such sweet joy
How different it feels then when a father strikes his little boy.
You were the first to whom I gave my scared heart
And told me that we would never depart
The first to give me such a wonderful hope
The one who made my life easier to cope
Now you're the first who left me alone
Went off someplace and never came back home
Found yourself another - forgotten I exist
Why did you lie to me? Why did you treat me like this?
I gave you my heart, my body, my soul
What once was on fire has now become cold
I'm but a forgotten memory that no longer has a form
A misplaced idea something just out of the norm
I wonder when we meet again what will you see?
Will you see the the person you knew or even remember me?
I remember you, I will NEVER forget
That is why now I wish we never met
I wish you never showed me the beauty of Life
Because the thought of not having it cuts me like a knife
So here I am once again completely alone
But what do you care? You have found your true home.

Though I am 15 accept this advice, open your heart to another, and never hate the gender (don't know your orientation so playing it safe). For you see, we all get as we deserve sooner or later, that is life. I voted- just to let you know.
