What Happens When Your Smile Fades

by Little Dot   May 10, 2007

Sitting there at your desk
Nothing but a notebook in front of you
Tears stream down your face
You were left all alone

You don`t know why you cry
You blame it on him and say
That he is the cause
But you know it`s a lie

You think of suicide
But you know, in the end you won`t
You are just to scared
Of the consequences

You can turn off the tears
When you are back in the spotlight
But the pain is all
Just the same as before

You may not cry up there
But you can`t seem to smile anymore
You pretend you`re fine
Your eyes are full of tears

But those tears aren`t shed yet
You save it for those lonely nights
When you can be you
When you`re alone again
