The Pony

by The Lady Jupiter   May 10, 2007

The sun shines down brightly on the innocent face
A child rocks back and forth with the motion beneath her
They avoid the patch of burr
The pony snorts with pleasure as he finds his pace
The girl giggles loudly as they begin to race
The girl clings tighter to the pony’s soft fur
The pony slows down like a kind sir
The little girl pats the pony’s soft face
