Why do I bother
When you don't even care
All I ever did was love you
I wish you could see
just how much you meant to me
but you ended us
and now we are over
you broke my heart once
that was your fault
when you broke it again
that was my own
even though you've hurt me
and you still don't seem to care
I still can't help loving you
and wishing you were there
so I guess I'm giving up
just trying to move on
looking for another
who loves me
just as much as I love them
thats the way things should be
so maybe when you are lonely
and wishing someone loved you
think back to me and remember
that I loved you more than anyone ever could
and don't forget
that you are the one who let me go
and ended what we had
then you might be sorry
but by then
hopefully I'll be over you
and with someone new
someone who loves me too
