When you feel as though you've had your heart ripped out
that is the feeling of a broken love
a shattered state of mind
it is then that a feeling of remorse washes over you
when you feel theres nothing left
when its all done for
when you cannot see the hope that used to be fleetingly dancing away on the horizon
you know that this is a broken love
you can feel the immenent end of it
you can feel the time running out
and all you can do is sit back and watch in a growing amount of pain
if i had known it would come down to this
i think i might have tried harder at it
but now that its done
i feel i should move on
but i know for a fact that its not through so i will have to see it till the end
