Love, not Lust.

by Kylie   May 10, 2007

If it matters for anything,
I just want to say,
I'm sorry for screwing up,
Making you feel that way.

I didn't mean to give you
The wrong impression,
But I had to give in,
Share my confession.

I'm scared for you now,
You seem so sad,
Was it really me,
Who made you this mad?

I love you, I do.
Please believe.
Without you, happiness:
I'd never achieve.

If you hate me,
I hate me too,
Because I'm nothing
Without you.

Is it so wrong to have told you,
How I felt?
Maybe it was a few cards,
I shouldn't have dealt.

I finally told you,
Looked you straight in the eye,
But I ran into a problem;
The reason why.

Should I have said, maybe,
We're moving too fast?
But if I said that now,
How long would we last?

Be angry now, fine.
Hate me if you must,
But I wanted our relationship
To be love, not lust.
