I Run Into The Darkness

by Tisha   May 11, 2007

As I wonder into the darkness ,I softly speak you name
looking for you endlessly,a tantalizing game
The sound of your laughter fills the night, just to find out it was the wind
A need to see you worsens, there is things I have to mend
Just ahead I see a shadow of your silhouette
I run as fast as I can go,Wiping away the tears and sweat
My hand reaches into the night and extends out to yours
Taking a key as if to open up locked doors
Our bodies pull close together and become intertwined
My heart belongs with yours and yours belongs with mine
I softly lay my body gently in your arms
Knowing that I am safe here with you ,protected from all harm

Ohhh, that is so cute... I love this! It makes me really really wish I had that in my life. :) I loved the wording.

To answer your question about where I've been... I don't know how to explain it, exactly. I just lost someone in my life and it kind of took my love for writing away with it. But after a really long time, I sat down and started again, and I got my love for it back. Thankyou for your comment. I really love your poems, you should definitely keep writing!
