The Sandman

by Allison   May 11, 2007

Winds blow across the sands of times
Causing ripples in consciousness,
The waking minds become dormant
Cosmic Energy is our sign.

Are we made of star dust?
Only the sandman can say,
He controls our movements
When we sleep and when we wake.

Seas of dreams that never were
Rock the boats of thought.
Bring our feet onto cool beaches,
The sandman is here, I'm sure.

~~ Yes I know its short, but it seemed done to me

It seems done to me too, and done well if I may say so (with my lack of expertise).
It's a great poem; short but concise and well worded.
Keep up the great work, and thank you very much for the comment on Kasumi!

Yes it was short, but I think the length works well for the poem. It was very good. 5/5
