Detention

I went to school with a candy bar,
I did not think I would get this far,
But as I went quickly across the room,
I realized I had certain doom.
It was 8:54,
Books were in locker,
I would have detention if I wait any longer,
As soon as I got there I thought oh at last,
Then I remembered my clock was 10 minutes fast!
