HEART

I write these words

On this blank page,

Because I could no longer

Hold what I feel inside.

My heart can no longer take

What I feel for you, because

The feelings inside are so true.

It feels so alive

That my heart wants to scream

And let the world know

How it truly wants to be free.

So my heart screams out to you

To let it be free.

I hide my feelings to others,

But not to you.

And only if I had you in my life

Then you would know

What my heart feels for you.

Instead I have to put them into words

On this blank page

That feels nothing for you.
