Daddy

by Pete   May 11, 2007

Never about, you were out. Now forcing your self near.
We should scream, we should shout. No one wanted you here.
No interest in the things that he holds so dear.
You should stay right away before you ruin his life.
You know the day that you strayed you created much strife.
The way it was played, you must know wasn't right!
Left a wonderful woman, terrific son just to boot.
A dad's what they needed; yet you proceeded to shoot.
It's your fate to be a fake, and the cap seems to suit!
You can seem to be seen for the person you are.
Had the best woman and son, and still run so far?
Left them alone on their own, what a terrible farce.
No atonements from despondence you are scum after all.
They're gone from you; get on with it. You should be appalled.
You're worthless, they're both perfect. You don't deserve them at all!
Was all a shameful game to you, they needed a DAD!
My condolences to both of them, whole situation is sad.
And as a father you're further and farther from bad!
She's the perfect mother; you're smothered with blame.
That he's fatherless is the only true part that's a shame.
Thank the lord he's adorned with his mother's last name!
A mental call for support, you should have responded.
No care for their welfare since you absconded.
Thank god that you've gone, you're the dad no one wanted!

I hope that wasn't your dad in the poem, if so i'm sorry. The poem brought a tear to my eye, it was very moving.
